A low-kill shelter; animals are not euthanized only to make room for other animals. Instead, Shelter officials work hard to encourage spaying and neutering as an alternative to pet overpopulation.

Services include impounding of loose animals, injured strays and wildlife, euthanization services, unwanted livestock or fowl, nuisance animal investigations, bite investigations and quarantines, and license sales.
